GRAND ISLAND (KSNB) — Tabitha Prairie Commons Senior Living held its second annual Mistletoe Market Saturday afternoon, bringing holiday shopping directly to residents and their families.

The event allowed residents, family members and friends to gather and shop without leaving the senior living community.

“We’re located in the new prairie district so it’s a new area of Grand Island,” said Krista Finley, senior living director. “It’s just a beautiful way to get people into the building and see the beautiful community we have here at Tabitha.”

Finley said the Christmas atmosphere was her favorite part of the event.
