LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan experienced its first snowfall of the season Sunday, which brought varying reactions from Lansing locals.
Ronald Wiggins woke up to an unfamiliar sight on Sunday morning. Having recently moved to Lansing from Las Vegas, this was his first time experiencing winter weather and driving through snowy conditions.
“I’m from the West Coast, so we don’t experience this,” Wiggins said. “I was a little worried cause... I don’t want to meet [any] icy roads yet. I ain’t ready for that. I [didn’t] know what to expect... [It was] a little nerve-racking for a little bit, but then... you get used to it.”
He said he had a snow scraper on hand, but wasn’t quite prepared for how much snow would cover his car.
“When I came [outside], my car was covered in snow,” said Wiggi
