Following the official reveal that the film was getting a sequel , the members of KPop Demon Hunters ' fictional phenomenon Huntr/x opened up about their hopes for the next installment. The Netflix film follows the KPop band Huntr/x, made up of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, who also moonlight as demon hunters. KPop Demon Hunters became a cultural juggernaut during the summer of 2025, breaking multiple records for the streaming platform .

Though the characters' speaking voices were provided by Arden Cho, May Hong, and Ji-young Yoo, Huntr/x's singing voices are EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. The trio have performed publicly as Huntr/x on shows such as Saturday Night Live , and they are likely to return for KPop Demon Hunters 2 .
