PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two men are in the hospital after one of them reportedly shot at the other before shooting himself and driving off late Friday morning.
Officers responded to an apartment complex at 99th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road , near the Tolleson border, around 10:45 a.m. There, they found a 28-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
During the investigation, a second 911 call was made about a man who was shot near 99th Avenue and Van Buren Street in Tolleson.
Phoenix and Tolleson police officers responded to the area and confirmed the 23-year-old man was related to the earlier shooting in Phoenix. He was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
