BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A woman has been arrested after Birmingham Police Department say she shot and killed a man in the Collegeville neighborhood Saturday.

According to police, around 10:14 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, officers were called to a domestic fight call in the 3200 block of 32nd Street North.

Police say as they arrived, officers heard gunshots and saw a vehicle attempting to leave the scene. Officers were able to stop the car and detain the driver.

The victim was later identified as 30-year-old Anson Quandarius Henderson of Birmingham.

Birmingham Fire and Rescue arrived and pronounced Henderson dead at the scene.
