LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - The Detroit Lions got back in the win column by taking down the Washington Commanders 44-22 on Sunday.
Head coach Dan Campbell took over offensive playcalling duties for the game and the Detroit offense responded well to the change.
Quarterback Jared Goff completed 25-of-33 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Jahmyr Gibbs had 142 rushing yards and three total touchdowns.
"I know what I want to do, I know how I want to do it," said Campbell of taking over playcalling. "Now that being said, this is a collaborative effort. I was taking input from [offensive coordinator] John Morton that whole time, and the other coaches... So this is all-encompassing, man, we all work together.
