NEW ORLEANS, La. (KLFY) -- Tyler Shough led the New Orleans Saints to a 17-7 win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, ending a four-game losing streak.

Shough threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns, a significant performance for the rookie quarterback in his second NFL start.

His 62-yard touchdown pass to Chris Olave was the second-longest by a rookie in Saints history, just behind Archie Manning's 63-yard pass in 1971.

Shough's performance included a 19-for-27 completion rate, with no interceptions and a passer rating of 128.9.
