A woman has been charged in the Birmingham shooting death of the father of her sister’s children.
Brittney Watson, 26, of Brighton, is charged with murder and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling in the Saturday slaying of 30-year-old Anson Quandarius Henderson, Birmingham police announced Sunday night.
Officers were dispatched shortly before 10:15 a.m. Saturday to a report of a domestic disturbance at a house in the 3200 block of 32nd Street North in the Collegeville community.
While officers were en route to the home, they saw a vehicle speeding away.
Officers stopped that vehicle and detained that person while other officers proceeded to the house.
When they got to the home, they found Henderson unresponsive on the front porch. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service pronoun
