Class 5A top-ranked Carl Albert beat No. 8 Altus 49-21 to remain undefeated and claim another distrit championship, but the play of the game Friday didn’t come from a Titan.
Instead, it was by Altus senior Kolby RonJe.
RonJe, who is autistic, took his first and only carry for a touchdown in what was the top feel-good story of the week in Oklahoma high school football . RonJe got the ball for the final play of the game, which was Altus’ senior night, before running along the sideline and reaching the end zone.
