AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Highland Park Hornets have returned to the playoffs for the first time since Ty Stout’s first season at the helm, clinching their postseason berth with Thursday’s victory over Sanford-Fritch.
The Hornets last reached the playoffs during the 2022-23 season. Since then, the team has worked toward returning to the postseason.
Stout said on Sports Drive that reaching the playoffs means everything to his senior class, who have worked for four years toward this goal.
