ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It wasn't an easy victory. Mike Bradbury's University of New Mexico Lobo women's team had to work to beat North Carolina A&T 71-64.

"They're used to winning and they'll probably win their league again," said UNM head coach Mike Bradbury. "We knew what we were in for today, and we had prepared for that. We knew it was going to be a fourth-quarter, tough game. So, fortunate and glad we came out on top."

UNM went up by 13 points before the Aggies came storming back to, eventually, take the lead in the fourth quarter. The game was starting to look similar to the Lobos' road loss at Colorado earlier in the week.
