INDIANAPOLIS (WNDU) - Another high school marching band season is in the books after bands from across Indiana met over the weekend in Indianapolis in the 52nd Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) marching band state finals.
Six schools from Michiana competed on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium. NorthWood just missed a championship, finishing in second place in their class, while four other Elkhart County high schools placed in the top five in their classes.
Here’s a look at the results from Saturday’s finals ( local bands are in bold ). Classes are divided by enrollment size, with Class A being the largest and Class D being the smallest.
