Former AFL player Rhan Hooper has “lost everything” after having his house burn down last week.

The 37-year-old, who played 54 games across stints with Brisbane and Hawthorn , has had a GoFundMe page set up for him and his young family.

“Hi my name is Tia! Penny and Rhan tragically lost everything in a house fire yesterday,” reads the page, which was posted on Sunday.

“I’m trying to raise money to help them get back on their feet.”

At the time of writing, the fundraiser was just short of $5000.

Hooper is pictured with his partner and two kids on the page.

The former electric small forward played 48 games for Brisbane between 2006 and 2009 before moving to the Hawks for one season, where he played six games.

Hooper kicked 56 goals in total from his 54 games.
