Measles cases in Western Australia are at a three-decade high as health authorities added more than a dozen new exposure sites across the South West and Great Southern regions this week.

The Department of Health said two new cases of measles had been confirmed, a locally acquired case in the South West related to a returned traveller from Indonesia reported late last month, and another case in the Great Southern from a recent returned traveller from Indonesia.

Shops, a brewery, a regional emergency department and Perth International Airport are among the latest exposure sites added to the public health alert.

Anyone at the below locations during the specified times should monitor for symptoms of the highly contagious virus between seven and 18 days from exposure.
