NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday announced that the state government has made singing of Vande Mataram compulsory in all educational institutions. CM Yogi made this announcement while addressing an 'Ekta Yatra' (Unity March) event in Gorakhpur. He emphasised that this step would inspire feelings of reverence and pride among citizens towards Bharat Mata and the motherland.
