Five-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings are said to be in conversation with Rajasthan Royals for a swap deal involving their all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja with Sanju Samson. The negotiations, reportedly in advanced stages, could see Jadeja return to the franchise where he began his IPL career way back in 2007.

However, Suresh Raina, a CSK legend, feels that Jadeja should be among the players the franchise must retain ahead for the next season.

“Ravindra Jadeja should be retained again. He is a gun player for CSK. He has done really, really well for the team over the years, so ‘Sir Ravindra Jadeja’ has to be there," Raina said on JioStar .
