Eicher Trucks and Buses, on Monday, launched the Eicher Pro X Diesel range, expanding its small commercial vehicle portfolio with a diesel-powered option for last-mile delivery. The introduction follows the debut of the Eicher Pro X EV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year.

The Pro X Diesel targets users and regions that require diesel solutions for e-commerce, FMCG, cold chain, fruit and vegetable, parcel, courier, and other local distribution applications.

The range uses a newly developed E449 diesel engine that the company claims delivers fuel efficiency and performance for city and near-city operations. The vehicle includes a 10-foot 8-inch cargo deck and a 30,000-kilometre service interval.
