Two people were injured Saturday evening in a two-vehicle collision at 20th Street and Avenue C, according to the Yuma Police Department.

Officers responded to the crash around 5:46 p.m. on Nov. 8. Investigators said a 53-year-old woman driving a 2011 Scion XD was heading south on Avenue C and attempting to make a left turn onto West 20th Street when her vehicle collided with a northbound 2024 Ford F-250 driven by a 34-year-old man.

The driver of the Scion and her 14-year-old passenger were taken to Onvida Health hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the teen was later transported by ambulance to Phoenix Children’s Hospital for additional treatment.
