SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The strongest cold front of the fall season is now offshore, leading to chilly air filtering in!

Temperatures are starting out in the 40s for many of us this morning. Factor in the wind and many communities will have wind chills in the 30s as we start out the work and school week. We’ll see plenty of sunshine today, but temperatures will only reach the lower 50s at lunchtime. The wind will be noticeable today, with gusts near 30 miles per hour through the afternoon hours. Temperatures will cool back into the 40s after sunset, as very cold air filters in overnight into Tuesday morning.

Tuesday and Wednesday are both First Alert Weather Days .
