Srinagar, Nov 10: In a major breakthrough against cross-border terror networks, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have busted a transnational module linked to the proscribed outfits Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH), arresting seven operatives, including two doctors, and seizing nearly three tonnes of explosive material in coordinated operations across multiple states.

Officials said the crackdown stemmed from investigations into Jaish-e-Mohammad posters pasted in Srinagar’s Nowgam area on October 19, which carried threats against security forces. The case, registered under the UAPA, Explosives Act, and Arms Act, led to the unearthing of what police described as a “white-collar terror ecosystem” involving radicalised professionals and students linked to handlers in Pakist
