Many western New Yorkers are waking Monday morning to find some measurable snow on the ground. But that's not all Mother Nature has in store. Up to 9 inches of lake effect snow are expected in some towns along Lake Ontario by mid-day Tuesday.
Weather Service Meteorologist Phillip Pandolfo said that the heaviest snow is predicted to fall Monday evening and early Tuesday. "Snow is the main story here," he said.
