TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)— Cold weather shelters and warming stations open up Monday due to low temperatures on the way.
Record cold air is expected to arrive Monday night and into Tuesday.
A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for all of Tampa Bay for wind chills in the 20s and 30s on Tuesday morning.
Hernando County
A warming center is set to open Monday night in Brooksville.
"Due to forecasted low temperatures, Hernando County Emergency Management, in partnership with the City of Brooksville, is opening a Warming Center to provide a safe, warm place for anyone in need," the Hernando County Government said.
A warming center will open at the Brooksville Enrichment Center: • 800 John Gary Grubbs Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34601 • HOURS: Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. through Nov. 11 at 8 a.m.
