INDIANAPOLIS – With snow falling Monday morning, drivers could encounter some challenging road conditions.

Already Monday morning, several crashes on the interstate slowed traffic.

One issue on the east side of Indianapolis involved I-70 eastbound near mile marker 92.3 between North German Church Road and North Mitthoeffer Road.

Indiana State Police said injuries were reported in the three-vehicle incident. The center lane reopened, while the left and right lanes remained closed, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.

INDOT's traffic map indicated a crash on I-70 westbound near mile marker 88.7 in the area of Shadeland Avenue and Arlington Avenue. Two center lanes were closed. The scene cleared by around 6:10 a.m.
