The November international break has arrived and the Premier League table has taken shape.
Manchester United had the opportunity to climb to fourth by winning against Tottenham last weekend, but they head into the internationals sitting in seventh position with 18 points.
Ruben Amorim said the Nottingham Forest draw was two points dropped and the outcome was the same against Spurs last weekend. United would be on the same points as Manchester City if they had won those matches after taking leads. Amorim will be delighted nonetheless with the team's turnaround.
United have made progress and demonstrated the fight they lacked last season by scoring late goals to avoid defeat in their last two games. "If you can't win, don't lose," has been the mantra.
