An Post to pay €30,000 to schoolgirl after van allegedly mounted pavement and hit her as she walked home

Judge James McCourt heard that Megan Esezobor (13, at the time), of Oak Tree Road, Cunnaberry Hill, Kildare Town, Co Kildare, had been pushed against a wall by the van. Her mother, Irene Esezobor, told the court in written evidence that her daughter first saw the van as it approached her along the footpath.
