KOZHIKODE: In a significant setback for the Congress party, Alphonsa, a councillor from Nadakkavu in the Kozhikode Corporation, has resigned from the party and joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). According to reports, Alphonsa resigned in protest after she was denied a seat in the upcoming local body elections.
