The latest Frankenstein adaptation, which was filmed here in Edinburgh, was released on Netflix over the weekend and has been praised by viewers.

Filming for the movie saw production head to Edinburgh and the Lothians last September, with sets taking over the Royal Mile and other spots across the area including Gosford House in East Lothian.

Director Guillermo Del Toro brought in Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, Oscar Isaac and other big names for the gothic tale.

Following its release, the film has already earned a 85 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes with viewers sharing their thoughts on the movie being filmed in Edinburgh.
