LOOGOOTEE — The City of Loogootee is gearing up for a full, festive holiday season, inviting residents and visitors to “mingle, jingle, and celebrate together” with a lineup of events for all ages kicking off at the end of November.
The official start to the holiday cheer includes a 5K race, tree lighting, a Christmas Stroll, and even ice skating later in December.
November: Running and Lights
The festivities begin right after Thanksgiving weekend with two key events:
Gobble Wobble 5K: The celebration starts early on Friday, November 29, at 8 a.m., giving participants a chance to run off their holiday meal.
Tree Lighting Ceremony: The official lighting of the city tree will take place on Saturday, November 30, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The evening will feature vendors for early holiday
