The MSNBC -rebranded MS Now has signed a deal with AccuWeather for forecasts and access to its meteorologist expertise.
AccuWeather also will support CNBC, with daily segments on Morning Joe and Squawk Box .
On Saturday, MSNBC will officially rebrand as MS Now, as the news network splits from parent company Comcast, along with other cable channels like CNBC. With NBC News no longer a sister network, MS Now has been building up its own newsroom.
The network said that it has hired David Parkinson, formerly with CBS News, as senior weather and elections data analyst and Moses Small, formerly with ABC 10News San Diego, as climate reporter.
