Continuing its sustained crackdown under the state-wide campaign “Yudh Nashian Virudh” aimed at making Punjab a drug-free state, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has carried out multiple operations across the city over the past two days. During these operations, 11 accused were apprehended, and 68 grams of heroin along with 70 intoxicant tablets were recovered.

Providing details, CP Jalandhar Smt. Dhanpreet Kaur said that under the ongoing intensive drive against drug trafficking, various police teams from different police stations of Commissionerate Jalandhar, acting under the supervision of Halqa Gazetted Officers, conducted raids at several suspected locations over the last two days.
