Emergency services at the scene of the stabbing in St Ann's, Nottingham

Police are currently at the scene of a cordoned-off road in St Ann's after a man was stabbed at around 12.50pm today (Monday, November 10).

Abbotsford Drive, St Ann's, has been cordoned off by Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service while they investigate the incident this afternoon.

Nottinghamshire Police believe this is an isolated incident and that it does not pose any risk to the wider public.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the stabbing and have urged anyone with any information to come forward.

Bus operator Nottingham City Transport has had to divert its Blue 42 service along St Ann's Well Road and Ransom Road.
