Mike Vrabel’s mustache is gaining momentum along with his team.

The Patriots coach is growing the facial hair as part of Movember, the annual movement where men grow mustaches to raise awareness of men’s health concerns, including prostate and testicular cancer, as well as mental health.

On his weekly radio hit on WEEI , Vrabel said the gesture means more this year because Patriots defensive coordinator Terrell Williams is battling prostate cancer. The team’s players and coaches have been wearing “T Strong” clothing all season and the mustache is another sign of support. Gillette hosted an event to kick off the month.
