Charlotte travelers see more flight delays, cancelations as government shutdown vote looms
Travelers in Charlotte and across the U.S. were still feeling impacts with flight delays and cancelations as a decision on the government shutdown loomed Monday.
The departures board at Charlotte Douglas International Airport was full of red on Monday, Nov. 10, with new cancelations and delays popping up in the morning. There were more than 60 delays and 50 cancelations at the airport, as of 10:35 a.m. on Monday, according to FlightAware.
More than 2,700 flights were canceled around the U.S. on Sunday due to the government shutdown.
