The federal government shutdown could delay a lawsuit challenging tactics used during Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids this year throughout southern Alabama.
On Monday, Nov. 3, Assistant U.S. Attorney Victoria Todd, on behalf of the federal government, asked U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Beaverstock to pause the ongoing litigation until the government shutdown is over.
