Man Found Dead After Fire Rips Through Triangle Home: Police

Police in Virginia are investigating after a man was found dead inside a burning home in Triangle, authorities said.

Fire and police crews were called to the 18500 block of Triangle Street around 7:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, for a reported house fire, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

During the response, firefighters located a man—believed to be a resident of the home—dead inside the structure, police said.

Investigators said there were no signs of foul play. The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Fire Marshal’s Office is continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.

More information is expected to be released as the investigation continues.
