SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - Workers in Bradenton damaged a gas line Monday morning, forcing the closing of a section of 75th Street, the West Manatee Fire District said.

The workers were moving utility poles as part of the 75th Street West Improvements Project.

The area closed is between 18th Avenue West and 19th Avenue Drive West.

Drivers should avoid this area until repairs are complete.
