DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) — Multiple people have been accused of smuggling thousands of dollars' worth of drugs into Bristol County Jail in Dartmouth, according to Sheriff Paul Heroux.
Heroux announced on Monday that the jail's former coordinator of library services, Ginger Hook, 46, of New Bedford, and four co-conspirators were indicted by a grand jury on Oct. 20.
Heroux has called a 12:30 p.m. news conference to discuss the investigation. 12 News plans to stream it live right here in this story.

According to Heroux, investigators found that Joseph Housley, 25, of Rehoboth, was allegedly selling synthetic marijuana, also known as K-2, to other inmates with the help of two former inmates and another associate outside of the jail. Those men were identified as Brandi
