Six people were hurt in a two-car crash Sunday afternoon that happened in the 600 block of East Smithville Road.
Deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office responded at 3:17 p.m. Oct. 9 to the report of a traffic accident with serious injuries. The preliminary investigation found a white Toyota Prius crossed left of center and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Equinox that was traveling in the opposite direction, according to the sheriff's department news release.
All four people in the Prius and the two people in the Equinox were transported by ambulance to IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
