Strict checking of vehicles is being done at sensitive places

Following the car explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi on Monday evening, authorities have declared a high alert across nine states as a precautionary measure.

The states placed on alert include Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Gujarat. Security agencies have been instructed to intensify surveillance at public places, religious sites, and transport hubs.

Police forces in all nine states have been directed to remain on standby, increase night patrols, and monitor suspicious activity closely. Intelligence agencies are also coordinating with state police to track any potential links to the Delhi car blast, which killed 9 people and injured several others.
