A worrying 25% of men would not seek professional help for their mental health, even if they were in distress, according to a survey of 2,000 UK adults. While 38% have tried therapy or counselling, a stubborn 22% remain staunchly opposed to it.
Among these, 13% feel they should handle their issues independently, and 11% don't believe therapy would be beneficial. Additionally, one in 10 simply aren't comfortable discussing their emotions. Even among those who have been open to therapy at some point, 21% gave it a go but then stopped, with
