Santander UK has launched a new £200 current account switch offer which is open to customers who meet certain conditions.

The bank said new and existing customers can potentially receive the free money after switching their current account through the Current Account Switch Service (Cass) to a Santander Everyday, Edge, Edge Up, Edge Explorer or Private account.

Customers must be a UK resident switching from an external provider (not including Santander, cahoot or Cater Allen) to qualify for the offer.

People will not qualify if anyone named on the new account held a Santander current account on January 1 2025 or has received a switch incentive from Santander before.

To be eligible, they must meet the following criteria:

Submit a switch request on or after November 10
