A 23-year-old man killed in a Nov. 1 shooting in York died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen, the York County coroner announced Sunday night.

Jyteek Christie was fighting another man around 2:30 a.m. when Jordan Frey, 20, of York, broke in and shot him in front of Christie’s home on the 200 block of West Jackson Street, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed by York police.

Christie was taken to WellSpan York Hospital and pronounced dead at 6:19 a.m. on Nov. 1.

The York County Coroner’s Office said Christie’s death was ruled a homicide, the sixth in the city so far this year.
