A preliminary 2.6 magnitude earthquake struck in San Ramon Monday morning, continuing a swarm of temblors that started Sunday morning.

The temblor was reported at 10:03 a.m., according to the United States Geological Survey.

On Sunday, at least eight earthquakes were reported in San Ramon, including two back-to-back 3.7 quakes followed by a 3.0 and a 2.9, all preliminary magnitudes. Later, the USGS upgraded the first earthquake to a 3.8 magnitude.
