Indian team head coach Gautam Gambhir has admitted that the side is not in an ideal spot right now to defend their T20 World Cup title, but believes that there's ample time in hand to get into that state. Speaking to the BCCI, Gambhir touched upon the importance of fitness and testing a player's characters by putting him through challenging situations, which is a coaching mantra that he lives by.

"It has been a very transparent dressing room, it has been a very honest dressing room and that is how we want this dressing room to be. I think we still aren't where we want to be come the T20 World Cup," he said in the 46-second clip which will be followed by the full interview later in the day.
