Brian Daboll is officially out as the New York Giants head coach.

This comes after Big Blue's 24-20 collapse on the road at Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears on Sunday which was their 11th straight road loss - an all-time Giants franchise record- sending them to 2-8 on the season for the third successive year.

Assistant head coach and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka is set to take over as interim head coach in the meantime, per insider Adam Schefter .

After Sunday's loss to the Bears, in which the Giants led by 10 with under five minutes left of regulation, and saw rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart being evaluated for his fourth concussion of the 2025 NFL campaign, the team made the decision to relieve Daboll of his duties.
