Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden (0) reacts after a 35-yard reception during the second quarter of their game against the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Will the Green Bay Packers have rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden for Monday Night Football at home against the Philadelphia Eagles this week?

As of now, Golden is questionable to play in the game with a shoulder injury. However, he did not practice Friday or Saturday ahead of Monday night's game. That's not a great sign for his availability.

While it's possible the Packers still decide to play him, his effectiveness would probably be limited with his shoulder ailment. It's more likely that Green Bay rests Golden this week to get him healthy for its playoff push.

We'll see what happens with Golden ahead of Monday night's game, but the best bet is that he won't play.
