CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) - One man is dead and another was seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash in Clermont County Monday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened just after 8 a.m. along State Route 125 in Tate Township.
Troopers said that a truck driven by Bruce Schwartzman, 51, of Amelia, was traveling southbound before losing control and drifting into the oncoming lane.
Schwartzman’s vehicle was hit by another pickup truck, driven by Ernest Boone, 76, of Georgetown, before both vehicles traveled off the roadway and hit a guardrail.
Schwartzman was taken to Bethesda North Hospital, where he died, and Boone was taken to UC Medical Center with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, OSHP said.
