CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Snow was falling across Cincinnati Monday, but the city’s snowplow tracker website was not operating.

Two weeks ago, the city showed off its latest investments in winter road technology to include things like tablets in all the trucks that will let the drivers know what roads have been plowed and which ones still need it.

The city’s snowplow tracker not being online Monday was not because of any problems, explained Cincinnati City Council Member Ana Albi.

“Our snowplow tracker won’t be activated until we are on 12-hour shifts, which doesn’t happen until there’s a major snow event,” Albi said. “This is a light dusting and flurry for now.”
