Browns coach Kevin Stefanski at least opened the door a crack that quarterback Deshaun Watson could be designated for return to practice this week.

Stefanski was asked on a Nov. 10 Zoom call about the possibility of Watson's 21-day practice window being opened this week, and his response was, "I'm not sure if that's what we're doing." Previously when he's been asked that question, including last week, he's answered with a definitive "no."

The Browns wouldn't have to officially designate Watson for return until Nov. 12, the first day they begin practice for their Nov. 16 home game against the Baltimore Ravens . Whenever they do open the window, they have those three weeks to either activate the quarterback from the physically unable to perform list or he would remain on the list
