SPRINGVILLE — Springville Community Academy has reached the halfway mark in its “Harvest of Hope” fundraiser, collecting $575 toward its first milestone for playground maintenance.

Harvest of Hope is the school’s only fundraiser dedicated solely to school needs, separate from the PTO or athletic programs. Every dollar raised directly supports students by funding touchscreen ChromeBooks, new cafeteria tables, and playground upkeep.

School officials said that if each student raises $30, the overall goal can be met. Donations are being accepted now through Dec. 20, either online here or by sending an envelope to the school.
